Lee Miles is a Senior Analyst at Hestia Capital, with his primary responsibilities including investment screening and fundamental company research. Lee’s prior experiences include time as a Portfolio Manager and auto industry expert at Fidelity and AllianceBernstein and work as a generalist Senior Equity Analyst at Robert W. Baird and Off Wall Street. Previously, Lee also helped start and worked as the Director of Equity Research at Knight Capital’s performance-oriented long-only equity research business. Prior to working in the investment space, Lee was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company as well as a Consultant at First Manhattan Consulting Group, a boutique banking consulting firm which held the distinction of the highest revenue per consultant in the industry.

Lee received his M.B.A. with Distinction in Finance and Operations from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated in the Top 5% of his class. Lee received his B.A., Magna cum Laude with Highest Honors, in Engineering from Harvard University, where he earned the Detur Prize for finishing in the Top 4% of his Freshman Class. Lee spent his junior year abroad at Oxford University, St. Edmund Hall.

Lee is a passionate advocate of dual-involved parenting and is an active volunteer and donor to causes which promote shared parenting. He helped organize a shared parenting conference in Boston and has lobbied state legislators and hosted events to advance parenting legislation in Massachusetts.
